I was wondering if anyone knew how to push the column by the focus stone that you get with Gorn. You have to climb up some stairs to get to it and it looks like it has a crack in it to topple it over to get to a chest on the other side but i can't figure it out. |

I heard that supposedly this column can be knocked over with a pickaxe. I chopped it with a pickaxe until I was blue in the face and the thing STILL wouldn't fall.
So as far as I know, the thing can't be knocked down...
I know of two ways to get to the chest, though. Either learn acrobatics and jump, or transform into a lurker and jump. (May take a
few tries, so save.) |

I just used a speed potion and jumped at the narrowist point between the two sides. So acrobatics is NOT needed. |

You can push the column over but it only falls away from the cliff. It doesn't fall across the gap. Atleast that is the only way I was able to push it. Also you have to stand in a very exact spot close to the cliff edge to be able to push it at all. |

I've tried that column a great many times. ONCE i was able to hit it. I think I have stood Everywhere around that one, but never again did it highlight.
Any good stuff in the chest? |

I don't remember exactly what was in the chest, but if I recall being disapointed so I am pretty sure it's mostly junk you can easily do without. |

Fifty ore (or so), arrows, maybe a low-end spell scroll, and I think a couple of lockpicks or something. Not even worth your time.
Gothic does this a lot. You find what looks like a hidden or hard-to-get treasure and all it contains is junk. |

pure crap in that chest, and all the effort needd to get there, you'd think you would find an Uzi or something in it.
Bloodfly spell is easiest way to get to that chest |
