what was your All-Time highest level you ever reached while playing Gothic without using the cheats?
mine was 64

My highest was 39...
But i was A great Warrior!! 
Did you knew that you can get lvl 30 only in chapter 1???
Yes, get strong in khorinis (I mean not the Vally Of Mines) And when you feel strong enough just beat the 2 paladins that guard the entrence to the Vally Of Mines... Take the key and get in to the VoM!!!

 Dude were talking about gothic1 not 2 here. In gothic1 it was much easyer to gain levels.

Oh...
In gothic 1 my highest was 30...
It was harder to gain lvls for me.. |

i played gothic the first time and finished it at level 32. then i decided to pick the game apart. i got to level 15 before i joined a camp, killed all of the animals that i could, got to level 25 when i went up against the Crawler queen, and so on and so forth. it is actually fun to get that far. and it takes a lot of XP
