Up until recently, our family only had one TV, and that was a tiny one in my parents' room. The main reason we got a new and bigger TV is that we like to watch movies (not so much TV movies), and that's the main purpose of the new TV. Of course, we still watch it from time to time. For instance, I like to watch it when it's my night to wash the dishes (we just have to handwash them because my mom insists they get scratches on them if we run them through the dishwasher ). I usually only watch TV one or two nights a week. We don't get cable, but it doesn't bother me too much, since the shows I like to watch (other than South Park) come on Fox and CBS. Anyway, I'd almost always rather be playing Gothic 2 or skateboarding than watching TV. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

I don't watch a lot of TV but there are some quality shows I like to relax with. Sopranos, ER and for some reason I like crime dramas like NYPD Blue and Law and Order. I find it amusing that I could watch movies all day long and that might be considered that a cultural experience but watch a little TV and you can see some people looking down their noses. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

That depends on how many channels you've got. _________________ -=Professional Secret Agent=-

I hardly watched any till I was about twelve or thirteen, and I've gone without TV at various times for 6 months to a year without any ill effects, but there are two exceptions:
Japanese TV: I love Japanese television. I'd pay good money to get all their networks on cable.
The Simpsons: My vote for greatest show (or greatest popular entertainment PERIOD) in the history of the human race (aliens are a different matter) |

Well, I've not seen much Japanese television, but there is one show that I really enjoy:
