But even after I killed Gomez... Why will they still not talk to me? Is it my breath?

yaaa... i always wanted to talk to them, they say you will be able to in gothic 2..... well.. my favorite npc in the game was probably.... bloodwyn, he was pretty funny with his talk of "true friendship for 10 ore"

Come on fellas, Horatio is the best. He doesnt even belong in the colony. Lee's record is quite impressive, but Horatio is the most noble NPC in the game. He could be out killing like the rest of his comrades, but he doesnt want or need to kill to get along in the colony, everyone respects the guy. |

Gorn is awesome. He's got that bigass axe, and he is invincable. And he's really cool about everyhting, except that bug in the New Mine.
Sleeper was also cool, cuz he was so friggin ugly. 
Is it just me, or does he look like a gigantic minecrawler that spits fireballs?

Hmmm... my favorite NPC is Jackal, hands down. I don't know about the English language version, but in the German version he certainly possesses the charms of a used car salesman (thanks, Val, for the comparison  )

I don't really have a stand-out favorite NPC. I did kind of like Ur-Shak though. He was rather nice. For a orc that is.
