Hi ALL,

During the playing of chapters 1 - 4 I was running around telling everyone I knew, whether they cared or not, that this was the best CRPG I have ever played. I was totatly into it. Chapters 5 & 6; however; really sucked. The game changed focus from RPG to Tombraider/Indianna jones. Puzzle buttons really piss me off.

Too bad. I still love the first four chapters, and am trying to forget the end. I hope that Gothic 2 will keep focus on the next one.

When I played Gothic the first time I had the impression they were running out of story. It should have ended 5 hours earlier.

Though I liked the sleeper temple and its traps and puzzles, this part of the game should have been a lot harder. The wave of death simply blew everything away.

Tomb Raider? Not really. There was not that much jump&run crap.

Actually, I'm starting to enjoy it even more in Chapter 5 (that's where I'm currently at). The game shifted gears from sort of getting to know everybody to knowing your a badass and getting out there to make some serious changes... that's my take anyway.

I agree with that. 5 and 6 are no longer focused on character development but about using your training and powers to do the job you are destined to do. It's showtime.
It probably would have bothered me if it would have been much different, I had a hard time reading through the remaining dialogs anyway.

IMO, the only hing that was crappy was the almost crash like ending. It might have been fun if we would have received a 'teleport to desktop' rune from the sleeper, but well..

I liked both the freedom in the earlier chapters and the story in the later chapters.
