Red 5 Interview @ GameCloud

Mark Kern from the recently-formed baby-Blizzard 'Red 5' has been interviewed at GameCloud on their formation and the recent announcement they will license the Offset Engine:
Gamecloud - First, Mark can you give us a quick history about how Red 5 Studios came to be formed?

Mark Kern - After you ship something really, really big, you kind of step back and take perspective on what you've done and where you'd like to be. A few of us found ourselves doing that and realized that were witnessing a new phenomenon where massively multiplayer games were getting into the mainstream of gaming. Then we got really excited about what that meant in terms of what we could do to expand MMO's beyond what had been done before. Because we also wanted to create new, original stories and settings, and that meant forming our own company to pursue some of these ideas on our own.
