Goto the stats subscreen and type marin yes MARIN not marvin! And at the top of the screen you should see some more ore...
Remember Marin okay. Hope this helps

There should be way for making ore. When you go to Old Mine, there is ore on wall. You can use pickaxe to mine it, but it didn't give ore to me. But I didn't mine long. Do you just have to wait longer?

You dont have to put weights to keys! Just press ctrl+up and leave him mine.
