Can you roam back and forth from the Valley of Mines?
   

Is it possible to get back to the "newworld" once you have gone to the old in chapter two. What I mean is can you go back and forth whenever you choose to learn from teachers, do quests (ie: level up and then get pickpocketing to finish the theives quest)?

Haven't tried it yet (just in ch2 myself), but as far as I know:
YES, you cab travel back and forth.

Wouldn't make sense if you couldn't imho...

EDIT: lol Lysander just beat me to it... and just like I thought
