Every once in a while you get a nice surprise where someone helps you.

Well, the mercenaries do stick together. When you attack one of them, the whole group attacks you.

this game is too easy

its too ez to fool, kill, and steal, they didnt make the characters smart enough, they only remember u once, then forget u lol...i just killed silas and 2 other high rank mercs and their dead body is laying in their house and it seems the story related chars are invincible too...eesh u can kill the whole camp and no one cares lol..i sure hope it gets harder if they expect people to get gothic 2.

It's not easy to steal from people (unless you beat them up). There are some tricks in using the pickpocketing skill.

Also....!

cant they update the dialogue? after y'berion died the stupid novices were still acting like he is alive, and natalia is STILL fanning an EMPTY CHAIR!...and why the heck does the question about who calls the shots when your guy is already in the camp? man this game just keeps geting more dissapointing..it started out good and is gradually getting dull..in the beginning the NPCs DO seem alive but after while they turn into dumb robots.........im not trying to be nasty I like the game but im just wondering if anyone else notices these flaws, hopegully gothic 2 will address these issues.

peace out all no offense plz just constructive criticism!

I also think that is stupid and I also hope they will do something about it in G2.

The game IS good in the beginning but gets bad in the end.

Every one in a while youll get a quest to "escort" someone to another place, I usually use this to my advantage by taking them into a brawl with me, and when I attack the person im escorting fights on my side.

But nothing permanent i dont believe.

Yes, there is one permanent. Shrat stays with you for the whole game as long as he doesn't get killed.

If you think it is disapponiting now just wait to you see the ending.
It seems like at the start they wanted to make it a really big game but then ran out of time and money.

Too bad that there isn't any swamp witch in the game...
