question?

OK, I may be a bit impatient here, but for some reason I just cannot find the valley of mines. Ive been around the entire map (it seems) and cant find anything. Did I miss some dialogue somewhere?

Okay, calm down. You can't do everything at the first moment of the game.

Have you talked to Lord Hagen? You CAN'T enter the Valley of Mines unless you have permission from Lord Hagen. The paladins will simply block your way.

First, join a guild, do some quests, and then you'll have access to the Upper Quarters and the City Hall. Once you completed those tasks, ask this question again. (Actually, Lord Hagen will give you directions on how to get there.)

Oh, Ive done all of that:) To give you an example of how long Ive been searching for the valley of mines, I started chap 2 at lvl 3. Im now a high lvl 9 because Ive gone around the map killing everything in sight just trying to find the mines....and Im still at the beginning of chap 2 Are they really that hard to spot?

*edit*

I dont recall Lord Hagen giving directions, which explains my difficulties

It's great to hear that! Here's a sample of a map of county Khorinis. The gate towards the Valley should be in grid K13. Hope that helps.

@linkitch, may I steal your pics? Thanks.

How about the Black Troll? Maybe skeleton lords? They're all tough, you know.
