The following was sent to me by my mother in law (a 113% republican). I was not sure if I should post it, but I thought it was clever so ....

With all your honor and dignity what would you do? This test only has one
question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without
giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able
to test where you stand morally.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you
will have to make a decision one way or the other.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll

accurately.
You're in Florida...In Miami, to be exact...
There is great chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe
floods. There are huge masses of water all over you. You are a CNN
photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation
is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are
houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature
is showing all its destroying power and is ripping everything away with it.
Suddenly you see a woman in the water, she is fighting for her life, trying
not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer.
Somehow the woman looks familiar. Suddenly you know who it is - it's Hillary
Rodham Clinton! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about
to take her away...forever.
You have two options. You can save her or you can take the best photo of
your life. So you can save the life of Hillary Rodham Clinton, or you can
shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo. A unique photo displaying the death of
one of the world's most powerful women.

 Definitely black and white, it gives it a more dramatic feel. If it was in color people might laugh. |

Wonderful. I vote for B&W, too- emphasizes the stark realities.

Almost falls. And I would use color to catch the tones of the water myself.

I don’t think this is for conservatives only, I'm pretty liberal and still wouldn't save her.

Well, when I read the initial set up I stopped an thought about the situation (before I got to the question), and I decided that I probably would save her ... even though I despise the woman.
ust imagine how good it would feel to say "Look lady, I hate your guts. I just saved your ass 'cause it was the right thing to do. Would you have done the same? Think. About. It." And then just walk off, dripping sea water the whole way.

You do realize, Lintra, that saying "conservatives only" is just flame bait? Of course liberals are going to view the thread! 
Anyway, I would probably be too scared to save her, so I would go with the black and white, for the more dramatic feel.

Hmmmm. I hadn't thought of it that way. I was concerned about the tasteless-ness of the joke and did not wanted to warn people ahead of time that the joke could be offessive. I can only hope I succeded!!
It was not *intended* as flame bait! But then again, you know what they say about the paving of the road to hell. *shrug* I can but try
