Xbox meteor problem solution

I was killing myself trying to figure out what was wrong. I had both rings on, no weapon equipped and was standing on the platform. The meteor sapped my mana and when I clicked use, it simply rumbled and stopped.

After an hour I decided to try removing my rings while standing next to it and touch it again. Bingo! It is destroyed and I can proceed. I don't know why this happened, but hopefully this helps someone.

Welcome to boards. Thanks for info. That sounds like a bug that got stuck in there, but as long as it works, that's all that matters. Will be interesting to see if anyone else with xbox had same thing happen.
