Hotkeys

Does anyone know how to program hotkeys, I can't find it in the instruction book? If it does say could someone just give me the page number?

Of course I feel like an idiot for getting through half of the game without having hotkeys

Hit the F1 key. You'll be able to figure it out from there. 1/2 way through! My god you'll wonder how you made it that far without hotkeys, after you get them set.
