i've already finished the focus search and gone to Xardas, and i have yet to meet a "Chromagnin". is this a quest that i should get later in the game? or did i miss something? |

It is a side quest that is totally unrelated to the primary goals of the game. It is worthless, stupid and unrelentingly boring.

Heheheh, it's a HUGELY convoluted quest, that keeps you in suspense, and you get to the end... and... listen to the laughter of the writers

i found the first book by accident while in chapter 4 (i hadn't been reading the faq)
i was exploring after getting a fire lizard tongue .. then i went back to the orc slave in the free-mine and on the way out of the mine all the rest of the books kept appearing one after the other at the entrance after i read each. wierd. then i went back to where the first one was (the skeleton mage in the cave) and i find nothing. i know this quest is pointless, but i still wanna know wassup.
