Think you will need to know Elixer of Healing and can be learnt from Constantino only....

Correct me if I am wrong.

In order to learn "elixir of strengh" you will need to learn all the healing potion and then the speed potion and then you can learn the str potion from constantino and the dex potion from someone ( don't remember who )

You don't need the speed one to learn str, just the three healing, Sagitta is the only one I found who teaches dex. But Neoras might, never asked before I had it though.

For elixir of strength you need to learn essence of healing(constantino, sagitta),extract of healing(constantino, sagitta) and elixir of healing(constantino). Then you can learn elixir of life(+15 max HP) and elixir of strength(+5 strength) from constantino.

For elixir of dexterity you need to learn mana essence(constantino, sagitta),mana extract(constantino, sagitta) and mana elixir(sagitta). Then you can learn elixir of spirit(+10 max mana) and elixir of dexterity(+5 dexterity) from sagitta.

Although you do need the mana potions to get elixer of spirit, you do not need them for dex. Last merc learned dex w/o them. Only needed the three healing.

If you learn the three mana potions, you can do Elixir of Strength and Mana. You don't need to learn the three healing potions too. Good thing, because learning alchemy hardly pays off if you don't do the permanent potions.

It isn't worth buying knotweed to make a potion when you can buy it for half the price. I don't know why the game made knotweed so expensive. It doesn't make sense that you pay 100 for that but 50 for a potion that requires it.

So, you can learn strength either way, learning all 3 mana OR all three health. That's good, so one can choose which three to learn and not 'waste' lp if they don't want to.

I finished the game 2 times and every time I learned all 6 potions(mana & healing) in first chapter. Now I'm playing for the 3 time.I learned 3 mana potions, then Sagitta taught me elixir of spirit and elixir of dexterity but Constantino still couldn't teach me elixir of strength.
But when I advanced to chapter 2 suddenly there was an option for teaching me elixir of strength from Constantino.

Anyway, thx for the advice.

A switch must get set after reaching ch 2. Did Constantino offer recipe for elixer of life after learning all 3 mana? If so, was it ch 1 or 2? I don't think Sagitta offers that one. Cause if you decide to become a novice and haven't donated 1000 gold to Daron in marketplace, then after becoming novice you can't anymore. Does that make any sense at all?

Constantino just offered me elixir of strength after 3 mana potions in ch2.
Maybe just elixir of strength and dexterity are the one who can get taught in ch2 with 3 potions of same kind learnt.
It would make sense.Strength and dexterity are not much related to even mana or healing and elixir of spirit is much related to mana potion same as elixir of life to healing potions.

This is one of the things I like this game. There are so many secrets, things that can be done. It's not just fun to play the game but it's fun to discuss
about it.
