Translating German to English for Mod and Player kit.
   

I was translating the German documents into English for the Mod Gothic development kit, and also for Player kit.

The tutorials in the Mod section here is good and in english.

I want to add using scripts, new characters into the camp that will be more tough and more quest to do.

It just seems after chapter one, things go very fast with not many side quest.

I would like to change some of the easy money like having 100 swords for thousands of ore in a chest. Make chest combos harder so you must get lockpicking (no reloading cheat).

Respawn command attribute on places animals to occur even after the one time chapter one to two.

Modify some monster and animal stats.

Script a "other camp guys hostile" to walk in once in a while respawning, to simulate the rival fighting between the camps.

With this added stuff would be neat, and gives more experience points so that you can not worry about skill points so much and get lock picking, hunting etc.

With Gothic 2 coming out, will this still be worth doing for original gothic?

I agree with Bigpapa. Yes! After you´ve slaughtered all the animals, it would be great if they re-appear after say a week or so in game-time. It would also be nice if enemies level with you. Having scavangers attacking you at level 25 is mostly annoying, but if the orcs and so on would be harder when you level it ould still be a challenge. And orcs could start scouting the land further in the game. What I would really love is undead walking about in the night, and maybe human raiders in the woods. And is it possible to do something in the Abandoned(sp?) Mine?

I have very very limited knowledge in any form of programming and scripting, but I will gladly help you if there is anything else you need.
