|
German site Rollenspiel-welt.de has posted a short <a href="http://www.rollenspiel-welt.de/artikel.php?section=1&id=4" target="_blank">preview</a> of Burut's turn-based iso RPG, Goldenland. Thanks, Ronny. |

Tells you a little about Burut. An 11 person dev. team that has already released the fantasy rpg "Heath-the Unchosen Path"(which I wouldn't mind getting if I could find it.Its been available somewhere since March 2001).Then it goes on to tell you what Goldenland is about. The way you play influences your character(good or evil),npc's and the enviroment play a big role. There are also various schools of magic.Weapons,armour,etc. wear with time as well as skills which are left un-used.You can decide how you interact with npc's,either friendly, neutral or as an enemy and if I understood it correctly, the npc's have that same option.Burut says that, depending on how you play, the game takes between 75 and 120 hours to finish(nice!)
You can interact with the enviroment, open and lock all doors and chests, etc. All together there are 4 "lands" to Goldenland.Goldenland itself.Turbern(which is home to the militarily-minded barbarians)Marvia(the beautiful far-east) and Alberia(the land of the amazons)The combat is turn-based. |
