Slaves
   

I just bought a slave in Morrowind. I think there sold at Sadrith Mora but i forgot. Anyway, what exactly do they do other then follow you and help attack your enemies? Can you equip them with a weapon and armor?

Not in the game as shipped. If you want more useful companions, there are several mods; and Tribunal gives you an equippable companion.
