Middle Earth Online: January Letter From The Team

The 'Middle Earth Online' crew at Turbine has written up a new monthly <a href="http://www.middle-earthonline.com/index.php?section=news&article=teamletter010804" target="_blank">letter</a> addressing anonymity in MEO in this issue.

This feature has been realized in many MMORPG, from EQ to FFXI. Who should be excited with this "new" discovery of the MEO team? They treat us, players, as a bunch of idiots, publishing such letters.
I like FFXI approach - you can't see the lvl/speciality of anonimous PCs, but you can see their race/equipment. This is fine with any RP.

I agree. They could have made Middle Earth Online really good. But instead they canned the decent original team and hired a bunch of morons to make it instead. Turbine was the absolutely worst company to make this game. This article speaks for itself.
