Where is the almanac?

I think its in the cave across a bridge with a bunch of black goblins? I can't seem to get through there with my rusty two hander. I'm trying to save skill points for the fire mage skills, would those help? Oh, I forgot where is Baloros?

Try to take them out on the bridge or increase your strength.

Who is Baloros?

Lure the Goblins out one by one. One thing to watch out is not to get surrounded by them because it will be hard to evade the attacks this way.
If you're a mage, my opinion is that only storm of fire would work will against those goblins, but I'm not sure if you can get that spell at that time yet.

Baloros is in the Free Mine.

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

No merchant is selling any two-handed weapons in your chapter yet, so the only way is to get one from a templar. If you're unable to beat him up, lure a swampshark to kill him and take your prize.

No, unless the person is not wielding it.
