| Sneak - I found a way to gain sneak points |

Probably everyone and their brother (or sister) knows this; but I just discovered it this morning. While re-starting the game (with a different character) for the fifth time (I haven't played the game that much and have only leveled up a couple of times) I discovered that when you leave the office where you get your class papers (at the very beginning of the game, right after leaving the slave ship) then you enter another room and talk to someone about your duties in Morrowind. If you stand behind the lone man in the room, in the far corner of the room then press the ctrl button; a sneak icon will appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen. I put a little weight on the control key and went away and ate my breakfast, when I was done with that and done with the newspaper I went and checked on the game and sure enough, the little sneak icon was blinking on and off and I had risen several levels in the sneak ability. If one was so inclined I believe that you could possibly max out on sneak ability before you officially start the game. All though, I do recall that I went out the door to Morrowind (to gain the save ability) and came back inside before this was done. |

You can do this anywhere where you can get the right positio behind someone in the game. I usually up my sneak points on the stairs inside the pawnbroker shop in Belmora. |

Yar, this would work in the pawnbrokers, if I hadnt killed the ungrateful cow who ran the place.. she learnt the hard way. |

i practice whenever and where ever i can teh only problem is after i brought it up like 15 pints i still couldn't picpocet withput getting caught and it was on liek lvl 65 i tihnk dunno if tis still not high enuf or what........

sneak is only part of pickpocketing. you need to have a high security to actually pick the pocket. |
