| All right, how do I beat up someone? |
|
I have tried beating up a couple of the diggers while they had thier back to me, but they pull out a club or some other weapon and knock the heck out of me and take the meager ore in my pockets.
My guy is lvl 2, so I take it he is just too much of a wus to take a digger ? Do I have to use bare hands to beat them up? How do I get any better if I can't seem to kill much or go very far outside the gates of OC?
Can I mine that ore in the old mine to make some cash? I found a pick, but I can beat on a rock for a long time and not get anything. I have been scraping by picking up mushrooms and plates and things and selling them, but those are getting thin. |

Running around the OC and making the little quests that the shadows give you, would upgrade your character to lever 3 or 4...  that spend your skill points to upgrade your strg and dex... you'll find ore later on, don't worry!!!
btw: mining ore with your pick doesn't do nothing sorry!

Go around and talk to every named character. Some will give you quests, which will earn you experience. Then train in some strength. Kill creatures that are simple to take down like scavs and molerats. Try blacksmithing to earn money.
Don't bother mining, you'll get nothing.

You are not required to beat up the diggers. Just do the quests and you will be fine.

No you don't have to beat people up with your bare hands. In fact get the best weapon you possibly can. Beating diggers up should be easy though, even at level two. Just get them into their huts so no one else sees. Then start swinging at them and kill them before they can even get their waepon out.
