Freedeom Force vs The Third Reich: Pre-Order Update

The <a href="http://www.irrational.com.au/" target="_blank">Irrational</a> site notes that FFv3R pre-orders have gone better than expected and a few more people will get a little bonus...:<blockquote><em>Response to Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich has been even better than we expected, and the pre-orders have been rolling in! We're so happy with this, that we want to give an extra thank-you to our loyal fans. The first 500 pre-orders will still get the exclusive signed and numbered concept art print by Robb Waters. BUT! We have decided to print up a bunch of extra copies, and give them away (unsigned) with pre-ordered copies until our supply runs out. So even if you missed the initial 500 cutoff, you can still get this extra "thank you" from us. <br> <br>Thanks again for all your support. For Freedom!</em></blockquote>

I hope that they have a huge success with this game. Irrational seem to using work for hire (Swat 4, Tribes 3) to keep the money coming in so that they can develop the type of games they really want to. With the closure of Troika and Ion Storm I'm chuffed to see a PC development team doing well for themselves. It's just a pity that those of us in Europe have no way of buying direct from the developers. We have a pretty big PC market, so it might be worth trying to start up an European branch that sells direct to us. All the best Irrational, and I'm really looking forward to Bioshock.
