The funniest thing are npc's that say "your dead" and don't even have a weapon.
I shoot them with my bow and the even kneel sometimes for me.
After that i feel sorry so i just take them out with one shot in the head.
What are they thinking attacking a guy in full armor.

I found out later, but I thought it was still funny to me. For a time I thought they were saying "You Enron!"  right before charging at me with a weapon...
I wisened up later and realised it was "anuad" for a moment I was wondering if they knew about my inside trading... |

If you go into the Construction Set, you can go to the map and find the cell with the NPC you want to change. If you click on them it brings up the properties for that charcater. From there you have option of adjusting the dailogue options (you can select topics and answers from already existing lists, or you can make your own.) You can also adjust the topics for the entire class of NPC this way (by finding that class in the database and changing the properties...) Also, I just figured out how to write my own books... much fun. They are in HTML format, so you can even throw in your own pictures.

Yeah, after he says that he says, "but, I will be gentle" or something like that... Heh. Fortunately, I had just bought full Glass Armor and had found an Enchanted Glass Longsword. I made quick work of the oaf!

A few of my favorites:
"Uughh..." when an NPC has zero for its amiability and sees me (I can't get enough of it!).
And:
"THAT's disgusting." I got that a lot when my Telvanni Orc was walking around in his brown (stained?) diaper.
And, a favorite that was heard only twice:
"Hey now, that's one use for a guar blanket, but it's the wrong one." (Or something very close to this.) Said by a Guard in Seyda Neen while I was walking around loincloth-style just for the heck of it. |

Several thugs encountered in various caves: "I'll make this quick," said as they fell to the ground dead from a critical hit.
My character nodded as he frisked the corpse for valuables, quipping in his best Sean Connery voice, "Now that's professional courtesy."
There is more to the tauntable daedra too...
When you get him mad he will say "I'm going to kill you and rape your corpse. Don't worry... I'll be gentle." Then you kill him. But if you come back later, he will have respawned! Talk to him and he'll say something like "What, didn't learn your lesson the last time?" |
