Kayla's tent was finished with milliseconds to spare. . I'm happy to take over charcoal and the forge if that allows Val to pursue an expensive skill that I (or others) don't have the time to justify. |

I can be on next session, when that willl be?
Then i will give you the coordinates of the Limestone mine. So you can build an obelisk there.
You have to run to the UoA first, then across th nile again and then way south. It takes 6 hours of waytime to get there. So take everything to that place except the bricks. Make them there. There is a chest with 7 brickracks there, water is reasenably close (for mud) and grass all around. You can work the limestone mine while you are making bricks. Take boards for the mine with you. THere are no trees for miles there.
4 members are planning to make an obelisk now, that means 22, 24, 26, 30 in hight. You can better bring more and stach it their then bring to little supply's. Talk about it with eachother. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

That's great to hear Dhurin! That means all of our active players are ready for the next test!
@Xerox: So that's where the brick racks went!
No idea yet when the next session is.
Okay, major goal for everyone next session is the Test of the Obelisk. Then making your own Fine Steel Axe. I'll work on getting the Ash for that and I'll give you your sapphires for it.
When I make the brick machine, you will be able to zap the bricks back and forth via waypoints. In which case you'll want to bring back a load of limestone with you so you don't waste waypoint time. After making the brick machine and the iron pots I'll be able to make Kettles for potash. I'll make ash and lime (from the limestone) for making glass.
Btw, does someone want to be in charge of making glass? Or should I work on glass as well as Cooperage?
I've trained Kayla in Vintaculture so she can tend to the vines and grapes. Does anyone want to help her with that besides me? It's an easy job. You check every 7 hours to take a clipping for growing more vines. You water and fertilize it once when you plant it. You fertilize it with fish, so you'll want to spend a little time fishing as well. Then when it reaches 0 life you collect the grapes. I'm planning to build a couple vineyards and produce a lot of grapes which we can trade to others who are looking to get grapes.
Also, the major guilds are now testing for Alignment with other characters. If there is an "Alignment Party" next session, then we should all plan on attending it. For the Test of Alignment you need to find 5 people who are aligned with you and are aligned with each other. This is extremely difficult. Thus the need for "Alignment Parties" where large groups of players get together and test with each other. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I did not take the brick racks from the camp. I had 72 wood with me and i made the 7 brickracks there.
Are our brickracks gone from the guild then? Maybe omebody doesn't know that if you lieave them on the ground to long they disappear.
I could learn Vintaculture, i already got some fish. It would also mean we got members from all mayor timezones then, so we can work it 24 hours a day.
I also learned 2 skills from the UoW last session for the beetles. Don't forget to learn them next session when you run to the limestone mine. Also learn mine automation at the UoA when you are there to start the obelisk test.
So run the the UoA then the UoW then back across the nile. You should be on the iland where the mine is.
I want to the the inatiation test of body next session to. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

Ah, okay then.
I'll teach you Vinticulture then.
Also, if you do map out a route for doing the Test of Body initiation, make sure to get the coordinates so when others do it, they can follow your route. You might also want to speak to Moondragon and see if he has some info on a good route for that test. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Got an update on the next session. It'll be this weekend, 11th January 12:00 EST for 24hrs. I chatted with a PR guy for ATITD last night. Apparently some special event will happen this session. Also, Monday I'll have a very nice announcement to make. Well, nice for people who want the release date. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I'd assume that they'll only accept a credit card at the start. They might have more payment options later. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

So the next session we will need glass.
I'm want to build a dirty smleting pot beside the iron mine, that way we can turn the iron ore from the mine into iron with the charcoal of the mine. Then we carry more stuff back with us. (10 iron ore + 5 charcoal = 3 iron)

I'm sorry to have to do this, but our time (Dhruin and I) will be really limited this weekend due to family commitments.
We'll try and see you at the Sandy Beach Resort but we won't be able to stay long.
Sorry again. _________________ Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

I don't think so Xerox. The iron mine doesn't seem to produce that much coal.
@Kayla: That's okay. Have fun with the family! _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
