Can play gothic only once!!!

I can play my english version off gothic but if i startup gothic it works fine but when i wanna go back to windows to change something i cant start up gothic anymore and have to startup window aaaaaaall over again to play!!!!!!
raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagghhhhhhhh!!!!!!
this game i +SO full of bugs and is driving me insane!!!!!

It sounds like you have a Windows problem - something fouled. I have heard of nobody else having that problem with Gothic. I know I did not.

I have the same problem! And i'm not able to close gothic anyway if it is crashed, i have to reboot by reset

You don't have to restart windows. Just close the gothic window and start up the game again.

it's true... ALT+ESC and you turn back... then you kill the process called GOTHIC 1.0etc..!!

No this moonslash guy is wrong. I've tried installing the game on multiple different computers, and the problem persists, on every one of them. The only thing is, its not just gothic that doesnt work, its any program!, When I'm Done playing this magnificent game, I must restart my computer before playing ANY other games or using just about any other program. I think its a unfixable glitch without using a patch of some sort. If somebody has a REAL solution, tell me now, because this restarting is getting very aggrevating!

No. You don't press alt+esc, it'll not work. Press ctrl+alt+del to bring up the task manager and then click on end program to close Gothic. When the screen pops up that say the program is not responding, click on end program again. It works with me all the time. Is everything up-to-date for you?
