Jowood intensifies cooperation with Koch Media

Jowood has just issued a press release stating that their agreement with Koch Media, announced on 7th of April, has been intensified. And, while the article itself doesn't mention English Gothic addon at all, judging by the previous related press relese, this could mean something good. And then again, maybe not...

Hopefully we can finally get some good news about the addon.
Something like that Jowood announces the release of the Night of the Raven.

There is probably no reason to get excited about... The press release did not include any information about the current agreement the two companies have, but merely how they expanded it, and to which games. Naturally, I had to draw a parallel to Gothic, otherwise this news wouldn't be worth posting, as the deal didn't include any crpgs.

There is a end run around Atari to publish a new game called Raven Gold Edition, a new iteration in the Gothic series. It is a stand alone version full game that happen to include the original Gothic 2.

So Atari can not see a good deal, Koch Media and JoWooD sure does and this NEW game will not be under the thumb of Atari contract.
