Alryt it's definately worth it playin wif Fire Mage. It's a bit hard 2 start off with but near the end it is by far the FUNNEST. I've played as Paladin and it is nowhere near as fun. Also the armour is good but theres an item dat makes you better  . So Ravenheart you definately should give fire mage a go.

The mages don't have the best armour in the game but that doesn't matter since you killed most beasts before they come close to you.  |

1, No! The story is great.
2, You won't need an armor at that time.
3, See above
4, To max! It's the most important with a mage. And pray always, you'll get 4 mana each time!

there is one thing that you have all given the wrong information about, the armor, it is truly the best possible in the entire game
but there are two pieces that you have to get for that |

But the other part can be used for other things in other guilds.
