I'm in the third chapter of the game where I am asked to go check out the Orc Cemetery.
Well, I fight my way down just fine, find the Baal down there getting whooped by the orcs so I help him out and then he says he'll follow me around. Fine. I go checking out the three caves, he doesn't really do a very good job of following me, so I go ahead and find the two torn pieces of paper and he's actually just standing around in the main room with the three caves still. So I give him the two torn pieces and everything seems great. Unfortunately, the quest is now broken, now the Baal just runs down the cave with the two small rooms at the end. Ya know, the room that has the switch that opens the gated little room right next to it. And he just stares at it. Does nothing. It's like he's looking for the torn pieces still, but he already has them!
What can I do to fix this bug and move on?

I think you are supposed to use a teleportatiom scroll (which u can find in the cave) to teleport to the other side of the door. You can then open it and he can go in. (there's a nice sword there too  ) |

I know, I read a walkthru on this section to see if maybe I was doing something wrong, but I'm not.
Here's the problem, he is SUPPOSED to follow me down the cave with the big room with that closed gate, where he gives me back the paper and then I cast the teleportation spell. Problem is he just keeps standing around in the other cave leaving me no way to trigger a response from him to follow me again to that big room.
Any ideas? |

Try to reset his script by typing 'bmarvinb' or 'smarvins' - you'll go into cheat mode then. Focus the Baal and press 'o'. Now you possess his body. Then press F8 to reset his script, and after that return to your own body by focusing it and pressing 'o'. Sometimes it works.
