Spells?

how do I cast spells? I equipped the spell and clicked on the number 4 and such...but don't know how to cast it....its a spell scroll.

If you assigned the slot No. 4 to the spell in question, hit 4... your character should show some kind of spell activity now, i.e. a glowing aura around his hand or some such. Press the asction key (keep it pressed). Watch your mana bar go down, the spell should take effect some time later! Some spells take a long time to take effect.

Did you get out of your inventory screen first before trying the spell. You have to do that... in case you didn't.
