can't figure out how to read letters or books????

can't figure out how to read books in the snake library or the letter i get all thay say is there is writing on them. if anyone can help

You have to 'use' them. From memory, that's the ENTER key once they are highlighted by your mouse.

I had the same problem for the first while

...once i figured it out, I headed right back to the castle library. Now I know how illiterate ppl feel when they learn to read! A whole new world opens up!

I "read" things by opening my book, flipping to the page with my character's image (bookmarked with a shield icon) and then pick up the letter/book & drop it on my image.
