well i started up my saved game when i teleported to the mages of fire. I enjoy knocking off the old camp. I killed everyone except thorus who was up in his bedroom. I approached him even got on his bed but he did nothing. So i started dialogue with him, my options were,
1 heres the 1000 ore, now can i go in (in? ive killed everyone already, INSIDE)
2 are you going to let me in or what (forot what it was really)
so i jumped off his bed and he layed down when he got up i whacked him one time, then he layed down again, he got up and i whached him, then he layed down again. I
HILARIOUS, HE NEVER EVEN FOUGHT BACK.

thorus is cool man! the only person with any honor in the entire camp, with the possible exceptions of Cor Angar and Lee, when you find out his REAL story.

And I think you mean in the colony not camp but what about Diego?

I guess TheLonePaladin was talking about Lee as we never see a glimpse of the pre-barrier life of Thorus or Cor Angar. And we know all about Lee.
About Diego, well... unfortunately he wasn't featured in all details in the pre-game-release comic book, just Milten (and to a lesser degree, Lester). So now we know that Milten deserted from the king's army but was actually caught for stealing an apple on the marketplace. And since he had the 'troops' tattoo he was identified as a deserter and busted. Lester was a psycho who killed two city guards who tried to arrest him for some minor violation...
...oh yes, and Orik actually fought in the arena against Gomez' then champion. He didn't look much like the Orik we know though.

He fought against Gomez' champion, a guy called... wait, I'll have to look it up... Ulgor. Well, Orik won, of course, or did you see Ulgor anywhere in the game  ?

No, Orik vs. Ulgor was the only arena fight shown in the comic book.

yeah, jaz gets me. i was talking about lee.
and diege, while "cool", isn't anywhere near the level of cool thorus and cor angar possess.

Sorry, nobody seems to know about Gomez and Jackal. My personal opinion is that Jackal was a used car... err... I mean horse salesman .

How can you say Cor Angar and Thorus are cooler than Diego, especially Thorus. What did he ever do for you.
Diego saved you at the start and helped you kill a troll. He is also avaliable to teach you strength and dex throughout the whole game.

Diego is nice. That doesn't make him automatically cool though... he's not the type to wear sunglasses  .
As for Thorus, well, he didn't do anything for Me, but he's nevertheless a nice guy as well, and personally I like his point of view.
