Learning recipes [Spoilerish]

What is the least expensive way, in terms of Learning Points, to
learn the high end recipes? (Str, Dex, Life, Mana)

The teachers my character used, namely the city alchemist and
the cave witch, insisted on teaching me the mostly useless recipes
for healing and magic power potions before they let me learn
the stat boosters. Is there a way to get the Strength and Dexterity
recipes without spending too many learning points?

Everybody asks the same learning points for the same recipes...

I did not learn any mana formulas. Only the three health ones and then str, speed from the alchemist and dex from the herb witch.

How to get Str recipe

I'm not an apprentice of the of the city alchemist so he wont teach me anything. I only got Ignaz in the harbor district and the witch. Neither of them has the recipe for Str.

Please help, am I screwed for not being an alchemist apprentice?

Constantino should, but you have to have certain recipes before str, I think you need all the health potions. They seem to give you recipes in a certain order. Unless you know all three health I don't think he'll teach you strength.

15 LP here and 15 there:) But I'll learn the recipies as soon as I become a mage. I'm tired of carrying around the king's sorrel and goblin berries. I ate a berry by mistake and to restore.

So far I have four gob berries and 3 king sorrel. I forget what it is you need for strength. Dragonroot? Is there a list of places these can be found?

I read that you can play save/restore before searching the body of a black goblin. They sometimes yield a berry. That shed a whole new light on my idea of a berry. .

Tsk Tsk.. Dragonroot for strength. You found the kings sorrel by the black troll, there's the one outside of town near the first sign from the east gate pointing to the tavern, there's one way up the mountain. Go toward the lighthouse but instead make sharp right and follow it around. There's one behind 2 trolls near Grom, a dragonroot also I think. Lobart's farm has one but you have to talk to Zuris first. I know of one in the VoM near Diego's old hideout. Sometimes there in graveyards. and near the other stone ring in the deep woods near Akil's farm. If I think of any more I'll tell you. There's a dr near the lighthouse, one on the way to Bengar's farm, one out the east gate (after talking to Zuris), There's about six in the VoM in places you have to go anyway, Orc Elites carry them sometimes. Don't forget to buy them from the Alchemists. I thinkk they have 4 or 5 all together.
