Hi everyone,
I just joined this forum. I've already played gothic 2 for quite a while and finished it three times now. It's still great.
Now I'm waiting for the Addon, like the rest of you. For anyone who knows a little German (I'm from the Netherlands so I know both German and English - which is very useful  ) check out the official Gothic 2 addon site.

If you can speak German you could buy the gold edition which is released this week.

I already have an English version of Gothic 2 so it would be a waste to buy a German version of Gothic 2 + addon. I'll just be patience and wait till the english version ships. |

But I think that the German voice of Xardas is not as good as the English voice, anyone agreed?

I've only played the german demo, but I prefer the voice of the german nameless hero. I can't recall how the german Xardas sounds.
Talk about voices, I really love the voices of the dragons, a real fantasy voice, very wise and old, know what I mean |

Yeah, our German hero's voice is perfect, better than that of English;
As to the dragon's voice, oh, perhaps one could even become the Pope from a nameless novice at the bottom of a church, if he had the very aim, the voice like our dragon and lived in the Dark Age...
