I'm sorry, buthe <b>BEST</b> patch ever was from Dynamix when they released a patch for Tribes 2 to unpatch their last patch because it crashed 99.9% of the civilized world's game. Now that's technical genius.

Well, I never installed the editor. Guess they are forcing me to do it now..
And I never applied that "Unofficial increase fps patch" on my system. I can clearly see that the new patch has made my framerates higher, so.. It doesn't really matter what anyone writes. Something has made them go up, I don't care what!  |

Everytime I whack somebody, I get hurt too. Sometimes hurt a lot more.
Might be related to that hitpoint bar. It might be my imagination, or a mod I was playing, but bad guys also seem to regen hitpoints almost as soon as you stop hitting them
Could have something to do with reflecting damage? Maybe you enchanted a weapon to reflect damage to target, but accidently made it so that damage is reflected to yourself. Donīt even know if that is possible, but itīs a thought...

I'd say this is the best patch that I've ever downloaded to date. Although, I am not declaring it as the "best" patch ever, just the most worthwhile patch that I've downloaded. The NPC/creature health bar and difficulty slider = two thumbs up. Now I hope that Bethesda turns their focus on the FPS problem for the next patch.

No, it wasn't any weapon I made, it was every weapon I used. Even arrows fired from a bow. But it's gone away, so all is good.

I crash 3x more with the patch. 50% of the time when i load a saved game after dieing it crashes.  WTF!! |

I loaded the game up after patching and it froze my computer on my most recent save game 30 seconds into play. I wanted to start a new character anyway. It froze when I tried to open the hatch to the top of the ship in character creation. The programming is fundamentally flawed. I'm trading Morrowind in for a copy of NWN at eb, writing a letter of disappointment to Bethesda (maybe one to my congressman, I'm so fed up of paying 50 bucks for flaws), and never buying another Bethesda product as long as I live. I've played some awful games, but this is by far the most flawed. |

Ok, after this new patch my game has also started to crash a lot more. Tonite, after playing for an hour or so, I saved just before fighting a dremora lord because I wanted to vaccum up his soul. But to my dismay he wasn't no lord.. Just an ordinary dremora.. and of course the stupid game crashes to desktop. When I reload it a few seconds later, it crashes immediately again. And the next time I restart the game it happens again. This is when I start getting nervous. So I turn on my mighty Visual Basic debugger tool, run the game, load the savefile and it crashes, BUT.. I get a weird error message from an XP file referring to my soundcard (Creative SoundBlaster Live 5.1). So I try the sound software mode, and it works. Feels great to know that this game abuses my graphics card, takes no notice of my cpu and isn't compatible with the soundblaster card.. Woo Bethesda! |

Hehe, it is what you think... lemme see if I can find a working link for you, but there is an update to the non shimmer plugin that works with the new patch. I'll repost in about 10 minutes or so when I find the link

Can't find the link but I can email it to anyone that wants it, until morrowind.com gets fixed (Is it just me or is it down ALOT?). It's only 6KB zip file.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but IF it is a mod that removes that "glimmering" effect to all my enchanted items, then GO FOR IT. I think my email is visible here somewhere?
