What are the filled soul gems used for?
   

I've been selling them as they are good money, and I can now fill the lesser and common ones with things like those nasty little scamps - 4,000 gold each, not a bad deal! But what are they used for, other than a good source of cash? I sold a greater soul gem, filled for 40,000 and I have another one worth 10,000 right now, which I will also sell, but I'm pretty sure they can be used for other purposes.

Yup! You'll need them to enchant items.

Only Enchant if you really need to, or have millions of Drakes on you.

Enchanting can take up to 4k.
