Gothic 2: Review @ Just RPG |
|
Just in time the US release, Just RPG has a review of Gothic 2. The article has a spectaularly high score of 97% and the opening paragraph sets the scene:
Gothic 2 is everything that should be seen in an RPG. It’s that simple. My review could stop right here, and you’d know everything you need to. But then, you wouldn’t be able to know all the great things about it...so I’ll continue.
A quick look at EBGames seems to indicate it's now in stock so go get it if you haven't already! |

I love Gothic but 97% is just overkill. |

Hmmm, t'was fun, but 97% is so near a perfect score I can't help fealing the reviewer is going to feel a little bit dissappointed when he reaches the home straight of Gothic 2. I know I did.... |

Yes, 91% sounds more like it.
Pressing game into an existing score system and balancing it with the older reviewed titles can be surprisingly hard. What if you think no game deserves more than 90% but some other editor has given game M 96% and you think the new game is better? _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
