Middle Earth Online: Preview @ EDBIS |
|
EDBIS has tossed up a new preview of 'Middle Earth Online'.
In the realms of movies and licenses there are plenty of products for consumers to buy, but very few that can capture the feel and substance of the original material. One of the most popular licenses being used now is Tolkien's Middle Earth which the original novel series has spurred various of other works in film, music, and computer/console games. One of the more recent endeavors to push this license is Middle Earth Online, a Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game by Turbine Entertainment.
|

This game will have great features like no pvp (pointless stupid pvp dont count why even call it Middle earth online when you dont even allow players to fight for the good or evil side..bah) Timebased advancement (game is so boring that you will now level offline). Prediction...this game will suck..just like ac2. |

Very Risky indeed. Hopefully the game is called Middle Earth Online and sticks to the 18 books on Middle Earth by professor Tolkien. I have heard rumor of a name-change to LOTR online which would indicate they are gonna go the easy route and make a crappy movie game. So far, anyone claiming to use the book license has failed miserably. I do hope the game is good though...problem is I hate MMORPGS. _________________ Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities…there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars…Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand…to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet. - Robert E.
