I just want to get sure I understand everything right.
If you join teh miltia you will become a paladin later?
After joining the mercanaries you are first a rouge and then a mercanary?
And finnaly what happens if you join the mages? |

Yeah... about mages. In Gothic you had to join a camp first and train as a Mage later. In Gothic 2 you can start your Mage training right away? (As long as you join the right group?)

Srychbane: I saw female citizens and a female guild leader fight, yet I didn't meet a 'female fighter'. Yet. I still have one third of the game before me  .
As for the Mage/Mercenary questions, I for my part don't know since I didn't try to join one of those groups.

I'm a Paladin, and I'm pretty happy with my choice (yet). I wanted to be a Paladin from the start - If I have the choice I'm always going for the regular military. Well, you see, I didn't want to wear a nightgown during my first tour of the game, and I absolutely hated to play a New Camp guy in Gothic I so joining the Mercs in GII was out of the question. So it wasn't much of a choice after all .

I like hand combat.
And one strange question. When you have a paladin armor you have a helmet right? And here comes my question, the helmet has a moving part, the thing you can cover your face with, can you move it up and down? |

Here is a new question: In the demo I went to Lester but there are mant trees there, when I walked by a tree I couldn't see a thing, is this fixed in the full version?

Is the combat difficulty scale more gradual in G2 than it was in G1? I am playing G1 again and it's like you are either too weak or too strong when fighting creatures or npcs... For example, when I fought Kirgo last level, I was getting beaten so badly it seemed as though I needed many more levels of improvement before I had a chance. Yet next level up I raise strength by 10 and all of a sudden it's so easy. |
