Strafe when I should slash/menu highlight

Hi. I wasn't quite sure where this post should go so if it's in the wrong place I appologise.

I noticed something weird during combat when I lunge then chop to the right, I run to the right instead even though I have the mouse button pressed. It's only when I first lunge then chop right. Does this happen to anyone else? It's kind of annoying.

Also, for some reason the menu highlight is very nearly the same color as the menu text, is there a way to change this (maybe in the .ini) that won't alter anything else?

Thankyou kindly.

I suggest you use the keyboard controls to fight. Believe it or not, you have more control in a fight. Hold control, and press up repeatedly to get your combo attacks, but they have to be timed correctly. You can't hold down the arrow keys to repeat a swing. It takes practice, but I think you might like it better than the mouse. You can use control and up, right, up, right with a 2 hander to good effect at fighter level. That's not so good with 1 hander as it leaves you open to attack. Don't forget back to parry. Practice in a field somewhere where no one will think you're attacking them

I use mouse and keyboard to fight, I never had any complains about that.
