Hi folks,
I played the game fine using the regular font, but my husband wants to play it now and would be much more comfortable with the larger font. I've tried changing the .ini line from 'regular' to 'big', but when I try to open Morrowind, it then tells me it can't find the big font. Is there some other step that I'm missing? Do I need to load it off the CD? Or....?

look through all your morrowind folder for font files, there should be one that has "large" or something like that in the title, then replace the old font with the new font name in the morrowind.ini file, I did it before and it worked, but I don't have MW installed right now so I can't really say what the file name is...but if you still can't find it, I will install again

The file name is: century_gothic_big.fnt
Locate the below part in the Morrowind.ini and change Font 1.
[Fonts]
Font 0=magic_cards_regular
Font 1=century_gothic_font_regular - to century_gothic_big
Font 2=daedric_font
