Infogrames to be renamed to Atari?
   

According to this newsbit on German <A href="http://www.mcvonline.de/?article_id=166341" target=_blank>MCV-site</A>, Infogrames will announce its renaming to Atari at E3 next week. Infogrames has purchased the Atari branch, but used it as a subsidiary only so far...

Why on earth waste the resources to do this? I have fond memories of my old Atari 2600 and Atari ST but it's not going to influence my choice of games. I'll never understand corporate cultures.
