Here's a real solution for you:

put a power stone from a dead body into the machine that is in a room with mould and a locked door and a ladder that leads to a lever. The point is to wait until the black beast is approximately in front of you by the wall on the opposite side when you stand beside the lever.

The beast will never go under the metal squasher...but when you drop from the place where you stand by the lever and toward the squasher, the beast will automatically come to you and get squashed. This will work (it worked for me immediatelly) because the squasher waits for about 3 seconds before responding, so you have enough time to lure the beast.

The other beast is killed with other lever that wasn't possible to pull before,
the grate on the floor is opened and the second beast falls right in...all happened in the same room.
Trust me on this one...

Alright, but throwing the dwarf meat under the squasher like you're supposed to sure seems easier. It lures him under and bamsquashquick. Guess you can do it your way, but, um, why?

your question is pointless, as i said, that was the first thing i did and it worked, so why bother to aim where exactly to throw the meat, when you are going down after anyway...besides, the beast was made of metal,
and i just wonder-why should a metal beast eat meat???!!!
