Frying meat

I have raw meat, and a pan. I'm at a fire but nothing is happening when I trying left clicking on the pan. is there a specific frying pan for cooking the meat? I'm pretty sure in the first gothic there was only 1 kinna pan, but I guess theres alot less of everything in a prison.

In G2, to convert raw meat to fried meat, you do not need a pan (AFAIK). All you need is a stove (which are in houses). Go to a stove and use it, it will convert one piece of raw meat to fried meat.

From what I can tell, there is no action you can perform on a outdoors fire.

You can also use the old Gothic 1 method with a pan over the fire. There is such a pan near the entrance to the Valley of Mines(the entrance guarded by two knights).

Thanks Konny666, I'll try that in a second. man I wish I could alt-tab this game.

Waylander, so its a special kinna fan? because I already have 2 "pan" items and I've been to a small fire out side in the froest and nothing happens.

It is a fire and a pan on three wooden sticks... you don't need a pan in your inventory
