I went to the goblin city to find some idol for the troll guy and i found a key under some guys pillow and i dont know where the chest is that im guessing has the idol thing in it so where is it? |

Go up stairs and try to talk to the King, then check out the rest of the upstairs, but save first, so if one of them gets mad you can reload and avoid fighting them at all costs right now. Much more fun to do the quest the way it is intended. Hint, don't forget to look ALL over the Kings bedroom, (under stuff) for two important notes. This is fun part and don't want to ruin it for you if you can get it yourself. You are on the right track.

well i found two notes...one about the king not having wine or something and another with a wierd # on it so now what do i do? |

Go down to kitchen and watch the cook for a minute, then find the dough he is using and "fix" it for the King. Then follow cook back to King and watch what happens. You cannot get into the room where the Idol is unless you talk to King and he won't talk until he leaves his throne room and goes to bedroom. While he is in bedroom, check the throne room for secrets. Also there is going to be access to secret stair way, go up on the crosswalk but don't go into the room, they will kill you. Look on other croos walk for rune. Use levetae or telekinesis to get it. I suggest saving several times here as it is easy to do the wrong thing and die.
