Would I be able to run the full version of Gothic II with 500MhZ, 327Mb RAM, GeForce 2 mx 400 64mb and WinXP? I know I should upgrade my processor to atleast 1GhZ but will the game run suitable at minimum to medium graphic detail?

I honestly don't think so.

I believe your processor's below specs. That GF2 MX Video card's not going to help matters either. And you could use a little more RAM.

My best advice would be to try the Demo, bearing in mind that the full version runs considerably slower. See what you think.

Enough Horsepower? I guess so?!?!

Hey when I first loaded up the German Demo (im canadian and speak no german at all) I was kinda skeptical with how it would run on my aging system... but I fired it up max details full texture quality on 1024/768 and got a whopping 30 fps with view distance of 300% on both terrain and objects. Is this how my game will run when I buy it .. cuz ive heard alot of people complain it runs slow...
btw... Im not really new to the community more of a drifter but hey to everyone anyways

Raw System Specs:
AMD thunderbird 1.5ghz
512 mb pc-133 ram
Geforce 2 mx (err that mx makes me gag)

They say that the full game runs a lot slower than the Demo, due to all the additional NPC's. I guess the AI really sucks up processor power. I'm waiting for the English version myself, hoping my PIII 933 w/Radeon 8500 and 512 megs of RAM will be able to run it with low->med settings.

You should be OK with the 1.5ghz Thunderbird, although the GF2 MX may hold you back a little.

Hey! A fellow British Columbian! You live in Salmon Arm? Thats only an hour or 2 from where I live! Anyway, back on topic, I do have the german demo and it runs fine. I have heard the stories of the full version being much slower then the demo, so I am worried. I know my processor sucks but my GeForce2 is all of month old (bought it brand new) the recommended system specs for Gothic II said 256Mb RAM would be enough, is this a lie??? I've heard that 512Mb should be the minimum.

I guess only time will tell for us english speaking folk.
But 256 mb of ram is so cheap in these parts I get my sticks for 60->80$ at future shop... where you from RastaBlasta?

The best place to get RAM is crucial.com! Best quality and great prices. Ever hear of Micron? I do like their RAM. Never had any probs with it.
