Jack wants me to get rid of the guys in his lighthouse... but i got this quest in ch 1 and i cant even come close to the lighthouse w/o dying by orc and wargs.  is there an easier route?

from khorinas go to alriks farm
and then to tavern and follow the sign ti the lighthouse ( the sign is on a wood sign with 3 signs  ) |

If wargs kill you, then you might have a big problem with fighting 3 bandits. |

You can get to the light house from Khorinis without meeting any orcs or wargs.
Out of the east gate go left up the mountain go straight on and you will see the lighthouse. The thieves will probably kill you before you can reached them with your blade in chapter 1. 
(i just joined the militia and still got that quest.)

I remember that I did this quest when I was a dragon hunter and still they managed to make me lose quite a bit off health

There's a shadowbeast nearby. It took care of the lighthouse bandits for me.

Hadn't thought of using the shadowbeast; I just used my favourite fireballs on the lot of them, shadowbeast too. Got to love those hot keys for potions.

If you want to kill these bandits in chapter 1, then you may need to use your combat scrolls. Scrolls such as Fire Arrow are most effective from a far distance. You should be able to purchase scrolls from the market in the city of Khorinis.

lol... i was trying to reach the light house from the tavern  there are some pretty knarly beasts that way. but i am still too weak to take them out, i think a good spell is small firestorm (it killed one with one blast) but i only found 1 scroll of it and the next best thing is fire arrow but it just pissed em off... ohwell better train somemore

There are at least two Fire Storm scrolls you can find in the first chapter.

jack's lighthouse can be found by goin out the east gate - turn left - and head up the trail that leads up - keep walkin up left then u'll see a lil house with two pricks guarding it.. it can be pretty tough because when you get near em they get out the bow and wield it - and they pierce you and its not even funny anymore.. so use fire arrow spells.. or any long range weapon that is sure to hit otherwise you'll get hit by their arrows back..
when the two pricks guardin the lighthouse is down go in and u'll meet another bandit, and kill him.. tada! ur quest is complete..
there's a dragoonroot beside the house near the cliff tho, besure to get that.. |

When I was still a rouge I tried to circlle around them until they would run out of arrows. The only thing that I didn't know was that they could also handlle melle weapons preety good |
