| No hanging earlier, later it hangs - why? |

First off, my system spec :-
P3 933Mhz, 320mb SDRAM, 32mb GF2MX, 28.32, all latest drivers for s/c & mobo, safedisc hacked, view distance = 3/4max, a.i = nearly none, shadows = off, sound = high.
i've been playing MW for ++25hrs and have not experience any hanging or dropping to windows before. everything ran smoothly. then i've read about optimizing MW in the .ini file and changed some of the commands. something to do with the lighting, max fps from 240 to 60, showtravellines = 1, show fps = 1, dontthreadload = 1. and started a new character.
as of now my PC hang and sometimes drop to windows frequently. figuring it could be some of the changes i made in the .ini file, i defaulted everything back to normal. but it still hangs or drop to window about 2-3 hrs into the game. what could be the problem? do i need to reinstall MW again? |

If you are sure that you set everything to default again, then reinstall is only option I see. |
