You could cheat to insert one, and save yourself the trip.

What??? That's so sad! Going through the whole game without a bow? Don't tell me you never worked your Dex up either?

Doesn't matter tho' you just need the weakest bow and a few arrows... and yes, you'l need to go out and get one... so weep!

Oh... to the others, you don't need to be a superman to finish Gothic. The Uriziel only requires 30str and does 120 damage! You only have to have about 40 str and you're on your way home! And even if you're a mage, with low dex and str, you still can use the Uriziel as a rune... so the Uriziel is key to ending the game (for weak to moderate players).

The Uriziel is the key to ending the game for everyone. Its impossible to kill that last Shamen without it.

Doesn't that come from Uriziel.

I worked out that by Lv40 you can have learned everything. Has someone already done this or am I the only one to come up with an accurate number?

Which shaman are you refering to? Those five orc shamans? I killed all with a crossbow. Just keep shooting, they have no time to react.

And to finish the game you can shoot the demons too. You just need those five swords for the five hearts. Uriziel is not absolutely necessary... but why not use it if ya got it?

You managed to kill the last Shamen (The one in front of the steps) with a crossbow? How many shots did it take?

And you can't maxed everything by level forty. I'm level 42 and still have got to max mana. I've also need to get sneak, pickpocketing and master lockpiking. Oh, and bow skills.

Hmm, I can't remember if I tried shooting them down or not, but I'm pretty sure you have to have Uriziel by Sword or by Rune.

But how do you kill that Baal Boba (and further fanatic templars) anyway? Is there some certain spell one needs to find to kill that bastard?

Welcome to the Boards.
To answer your question you don't need any special sword to kill Baal Boba.
You just aren't doing enough damage. I will assume that you are a warrior so you need to increase your strength or get a better weapon.

My strength is 47, that`s not enough? And I`am also currently carrying that C... two-handed sword which does 71 damage (among 10's of other weapons in my back-pack). But okay, I got the point, so I`ll try harder...
Thanks.

P.S.
It`s just that phukkin Boba is damn fast...

I think its more the reach. So far all the monsters you have killed were easily kept back by swinging side to side. Try leveling more and adding more to strength, then go bye a better weapon or beat someone up for theres.

I can't seem to kill the last shaman with crossbow anymore. Then again, I'm now a mage and didn't develop my str or dex. Put everything into magic.

I was a warrior/bowman the first time. It took a lot of shots, but can't be more than 1000 cos' I didn't have more bolts than that. But the shaman just stood still until it died.

Or was that a bug?

Btw, if someone else encountered the same problem I did (with that "Boba" near one of the gates in the temple) but STILL can`t defeat him due to lack of strength, if, by chance, you have 'Summon Golem' spell (purchased from Xardas), cast it. Stone fellow will automatically attack that bald ******* and defeat him...

=No profanity please. Jaz=
