may be yhis is a stupid question sorry.
but i get lost very easy i use the map but i dont know if i going north or south or east to west is a compas in the game or the only way to know is seeing the roadsings?

On your main world view screen (the one where you walk, fight, and interact) you should have a small mini-map in the lower right corner of the screen. On this is an arrow icon. The direction in which that arrow is pointing is the direction (N S E W) in which your character is walking/facing.

Does everyone have that or is it an option that gets enabled?

every map that has to do with morrowind..directyly 'upwards' is north

down is south

right is east

and left is west...

N

W E

S

and like he said..the is the direction you are looking at or walking in...its very easy to go the wrong way if u dont watch your direction
